Denim with a touch of Black&Gold

Have you ever planned an outfit in your head and imagined it to look just as beautiful in as you planned it in your head? but when you do it looks the complete opposite? Well that is exactly what happend to me over the weekend. When I was thinking what to wear to the Bloggers festival event, I planned to wear denim quarter length shorts, a cute top and a oversized denim jacket but it just wasn't working for me so I had to think of a "plan b". The photo your about to see is my "plan b"! I literally turned the jacket back to front and added a belt. Being as short as i am it easily looked like a dress on me. Lool! 

I did second think this look at first as I didn't wan't to look overdressed or underdressed but i think it worked just fine for the occasion and it did draw some people's attention. I hope this encourages you to step out off the box/ your comfort zone and try something new even if it's a "Plan B" as long as you feel comfortable.
