Bloggers Festival

Over the weekend I went to a  "Bloggers Festival" event, which takes place yearly. Leading up to the day I had butterflies in my stomach as it was my first blog event as a blogger and I didn't have a clue to what to expect or what to wear! Nevertheless I put something together, Met with a friend and we made our way there. We arrived at the conrad Hotel in London where the event were taking place. After queueing up to get our names ticked off we came across one of two backdrops which was covered with giant balloons and with champagne upon arrival, I was already filled with excitement. After spending about 10 minutes taking turns to take pictures and drinking champagne we finally decided to enter the other room.

This room was slightly dark, but had around four tables with different objects on them, where we were able to get a tag made with our names and rearrange the table to add our name tags and take pictures, basically making it your own. I thought this was a very good idea and I definitely didn't hesitate to make it my own. HA!

Whilst snacking on some finger food I saw the second backdrop! It was BEAUTIFULLY covered with flowers and a massive velvet green sofa in front with hashtags we could pose with. A lot of people were standing in line waiting for their turn. I definitely joined as well. Its a shame I didn't like any of the pictures that was taken of me in front of this wall, but this one will have to do, although it does not give the backdrop any justice.

Entering into the last room was very overwhelming for me in a good way. There was a bit of everything and everyone was in there from people connecting to about 11 different stalls with people talking about their brands and giving out goody bags. There was Funkin Cocktails,Quiz, Burmuda born,T-Zone, SanDisk, Blogosphere Magazine and many more. It was lovely, I met so many new people and connected with some new bloggers like myself. I even saw a old friend!

I left feeling very engaged and pumped up. I couldn't wait to get home and put new ideas together and blog some more! I must say a massive thank you to Scarlett and her team for putting this event on and I'm surely looking forward to the next one.
